Rather than actually scaling a fish, we upscaled one, quite literally — made the Koi fish mural larger — and in doing so, upscaled the entire impression of the room’s interior design.
We’re always delighted when our customers contact us with ways to use our designs to expand on concepts they have for their interior design project.
Our customer, Ellen, wanted two sizes of the POZdesigns Fish Pond Mural for her newly renovated kitchen. The first would be small scale to fit as a bookcase backing inside glass front kitchen cabinets. The second would be a custom, larger scale than we offer to fit an unusual trapezoid shape above the kitchen work area.
Here are some before pictures.
The cabinets are this size but not visible in this picture. They are along the adjacent left side wall.
The air return duct posed a problem in how best to treat so it would blend in. We suggested to paint it a coordinating color.
Step 1 of the center panel installation of the Koi Fish Pond Mural above.
Here’s the final result below, side panels installed and with the painted air vent, which blends in nicely. As you can see the Koi Fish Pond Mural brings maximum visual impact to the kitchen.
We’re delighted when our customer notices this too and is as pleased as we are with the results:
“OMG, killer!” and we exclaimed, “I can’t believe how well the orange coordinates with your ceiling area. So Cool!” and Ellen responded, “I know. Spot on!!! So excited!“
