We’re excited to announce our new Faux Glass Mosaic Tile Collection!
This is just in time to lighten up interiors for spring and summer and give the contemporary look of glass tile without the installation cost involved, making it the most cost effective way to tile.
In Casart Clear and other peel and stick wallcovering materials
The exciting thing about our tile wallcoverings is that they come in both our regular, opaque repositionable material as well as our Casart Clear repositionable, which also has all the beneficial removable and reusable properties.
Our Casart Clear has transparent grout lines, that allow your wall base paint color to show through and become the color of the grout. This also gives a custom, overall tonal hue to the mosaic tile design chosen. This becomes unique based on the space where it is used. This ability adds depth and all the convenience of our regular opaque Casart but with customization to what paint color you already have or want to consider.
Of course you can always go with our regular Casart and grout colors or create your own. Both are repositionable, removable and reusable, temporary or long term.
Comparative Cost effective way to tile
You could “tile” a kitchen backsplash, where one typically thinks of putting tile, for $150 with Casart Clear or $135 in regular Casart. This has no seams and is 6′ w by 30″ h.
Standard backsplashes are 15 – 18″ h, so essentially, you could do your whole kitchen for less than the cost of the actual tile + not to mention the installation fee on top.
Why stop there?
Yes, typically tile is used in the kitchen or the bathroom, but we are anything but typical at Casart Coverings.
We are constantly thinking out of the box and can envision full walls being decorated in faux tile Casart.
This presents a unique view of interior design, which I discussed previously with a guest spot on m}pressions blog and Studio M in turn wrote for Slipcovers for your walls. That’s a happy collaboration, by the way, that we welcome with others.
Some Room & Color Examples
Here are a few examples of just some of our Faux Glass Mosaic Tile Designs from our Gallery and website. The choices are limitless knowing how color can affect the design and that everything Casart can be customized by you.

Accuracy of Color
* Note: I’m amazed at how these color pictures lose vibrancy when it is brought into WordPress, our blog platform. Wow what a difference! This is also occurring with some of the Mary Douglas Drysdale Signature Colors, like the Federal Green in Friday’s post, which coincidentally has the title “True Colors,” and I’ve corrected with a website screenshots. In fact, I’ve had to add all these pictures below from screenshots because of this weird phenomena. Strange but something to keep in mind. What you see on your computer may not reflect the actual color in print. We go to great lengths to explain this in the About color section on our Custom Coverings page. But we have also gone to great lengths to get the most accurate rendition to view online. The best way to tell about a color, however, is to order a sample.

Have fun thinking of all these choices, particularly knowing that “Casart Clear lets your color come through” to get that Faux Glass Mosaic look with the most cost effective way to tile.
