1. Add Pops of Color
Neutral tones are a great palette for your interior, but having completely neutral furniture and accessories can make your home seem bland. Adding pops of color throughout your home can break up the monotony and let you get creative without taking up too much space.
2. Experiment with Textures
Textures are good to feel and see, making a combination excellent for your interior. You can use softer and firmer blankets, pillows and drapes, and smooth and rough decor that make your room more visually appealing.
3. Bring the Outside In
Research shows being around greenery can boost your spirit. You don’t have to go outside to reap the benefits of having plants. Bring the outside in by incorporating natural and fake plants, and adding colors and textures inspired by nature. They all add fireworks to your home with a burst of green and foral display.

4. Make Your Whites Bright
White paint can do a lot for your home. It increases a space’s natural light, can make a room feel larger and matches any other color you wish to incorporate into your interior. Choose warm or cool tones to complement the atmosphere of each area. You could also select a neutral white to create a bright, clean look in any room.
5. Create Patterns with Paint
Certain decor lets you feel close to your favorite places. You can often find unique items from stores in those areas online. You can also add vacation-inspired chairs, lamps and pictures to help you feel like you are at your dream destination. Other examples include prints and paintings, blankets made from local materials or souvenirs you got from a previous trip.

6. Play with Prints
Prints are a fun way to liven up your space, whether in your decor, or as a wall mural or wallpaper. You can play with different prints for each room or choose it as a staple for a dining room accent wall.
7. Liven Up Your Lights
Homes need interior lighting, so choose colors and fixtures that liven up your space. This idea can really add visual fireworks to your home. Get bulbs with a warmer hue to set a relaxing mood or a cooler tone in high-energy places. Add different chandeliers, hanging fixtures, and lamps to match your decor and give your home variety.
8. Embrace Asymmetry
You may feel like you need to make furniture and decor symmetrical in each room, but that doesn’t make an inspiring home. While you don’t want to overwhelm you or your guests, placing some items with asymmetry can make your home more visually appealing. Fireworks are hardly symmetrical, by the way.
9. Add a Statement Piece
If you want your home to have a “wow” factor, consider adding a statement piece your guests will remember. You can choose a unique decor item, add an unexpected color or pattern, or invest in a custom furniture piece.

10. Mix Modern and Vintage
Combining different interior design styles is a great way to make your home stand out. You might think you must choose between a traditional or modern theme, but mixing them can create your own style.
11. Create a Bold Accent Wall
An accent wall is an excellent addition to any interior. You can dress up a living room, kitchen, bedroom or bathroom with a different color, pattern, mirror, television, or fireplace. Use your accent wall as a focal point or to transition between rooms.

12. Play Up Your Theme
Choosing a theme for a room or your entire house can make it pop and help you feel like you’re on vacation all year. Whether you prefer nature, eclectic or another style, a theme can set the tone of your home and ensure you and your visitors enjoy the atmosphere.
13. Make a Gallery Wall
Gallery walls are a great way to keep your eyes interested, and bring happy thoughts and memories to the forefront of your home. Choose images that speak to you and your family, whether they’re family photos and paintings representing what you love about your household.
14. Dress Up Walls with Tapestries
Tapestries are an excellent way to create accent walls, fill space and add texture to your home. They also work as slight soundproofing and can move around easily as your style changes. Choose one of your favorite artworks or colors that fit your room theme. Controling the sound can also add as much fireworks to your home as visual accessories might by allowing conversations among guests to flow more naturally, and without being stymied by noises from shared walls.

15. Add Hidden Storage
Managing clutter is a struggle for many homeowners, but hidden storage is a great way to keep things out of the way while making your home attractive. You can show off storage ottomans, in-wall cabinetry and hidden bookshelf storage. Whatever you choose, you can clear up space so your guests focus on what you want them to notice.
16. Layer Bright Rugs
Rugs are a great way to add color and texture to your home. Choose solid colors or fun patterns to go with any room. Layering rugs can take your floors from ordinary to extraordinary, creating a fun and exciting surface for a table, play area, or accent piece. Set off visual fireworks to your home with a kaleidoscope of colorful rugs.
17. Mix Metals
You don’t have to choose between silver, gold or copper. By mixing your metals, you can create different dimensions around your room. Great ways to incorporate different metals include furniture legs, shelving, light fixtures, sink hardware and other decor items. Shimmering metals will definitely add fireworks to your home.
18. Add Mirrors
A mirror can help any room feel larger and is a great way to complete any space. The reflections add a lot of visual interest to a room, and the shape and frame of your mirror make an excellent focal point.
Making Your Home Pop
You deserve a home that stands out in a way unique to you. These ideas can inspire you to create the interior of your dreams.
