Our customer didn’t have a headboard and thought about using Casart Coverings.
She knew the look that she wanted, which we had, but did not have as a headboard, so she thought, “here’s what I’m interested in doing – hanging the panel with inserts horizontally above a bed…I love the idea of using two panels as a headboard! And, I would like to keep the option open to use the panels on a screen in future, so I’ll go with the panel & insert option.”
The beauty of digital printing is we can just about make and print anything and customize anything we have — if needed. It’s only up to your imagination.
She used our standard size Faux Panels in the Architectural Collection.
She also wanted a little more decoration but with the option to change the look and possibly use the separate pieces for a screen.
Casart can be applied over Casart and be removed and reused.
She ordered the Grotesca Scroll Inserts to peel and stick on top of the individual printed, square panels.
This gave her complete flexibility and even without customizing the order.
We initially helped with ideas to configure the panels so they would be printed together as 3 panel columns across with 6 total squares and different colors. This covered the width and the height of the headboard space. But, keeping them separate pieces gave more versatility.
Not being sure what blue to choose, we presented all the options in the colors she liked best, so she could visualize the choices:
Going with your first idea is sometimes simply best but it’s nice to see the options to verify that choice.
Voila, a perfect solution! I wish we could take credit but we give it all to our very inventive client.
