With all this lively and interesting talk of color on our blog lately, I thought we may want to single out particular colors on which to post for an homage to pink.
Since Honeysuckle is still the “in color” for the moment — until next year’s selection — here’s our homage to pink.

How about a pink lightbulb, which naturally flatters skin tones, a chef knife or even an electrical cord — all everyday household items but in pink! Somehow, seeing them in pink makes them look completely different.

It’s amazing how just the mention of pink can make manufacturers scramble. Meanwhile, we’ve been offering pink for quite some time with our Faux Padded Harlequin in Hot Pink as well as various other designs via our many blog posts mentioning pink, and most recently with the Mary Douglas Drysdale Signature Color of Lipstick Plus Pink, which might knock your knickers off it’s so daring, yet demure and devilishly sexy.

I love House Beautiful’s own tribute to pink with their “Six Degrees of Pink,” inspired by the popular Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, where in this case, everything mentioned links pink to pink. Can you guess the steps of how you get from a 46 million dollar pink diamond to Kevin Bacon?

I also like these interior designers use of pink.

Time to get your pink on, now that winter is over, and celebrate the sunshine, spring and the bold color that surrounds us daily.
