Back in August One Kings Lane forecasted for fall style what was on the design horizon based on their observations from the New York International Gift Fair (NYIGF).
Here’s the run down: Marrakesh Express, American Vintage, Linen Revival, & Graphic Modern
Going in order, One Kings Lane states Marrakesh is the number one style trend. We are happy to see this, as we are getting ready to unveil our new artist designed series particularly with this global, Moroccan style in mind. Marrakesh “is the most important former imperial city in Morocco’s history.” Click here to learn a little more about Marrakesh from Wikipedia and click these two links to see our previous posts on Marrakesh Style.

We don’t have a design to show you just quite yet but either sign up for our eNewsletter to be the first to learn about our designs or follow our blog, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and Pinterest and you’re bound to find out. These are the best ways to keep posted about Casart Coverings.
This Morocaan design stair riser wallcovering gives you a sense of what is to come, however, in so many styles and colors that it will make you flip with all the ways you can use to create your own Marrakesh Express style.

American Vintage is seeing a resurgence. I personally think it has to do with too much technology taking over our lives and us longing for something to help us reflect on a simpler time. We associate wallpaper patterns from days gone by with respect and appreciation.

This trunk below is similar to the one we used in our photo shoot above where we like to pair vintage with modern and make it work.

The Bucket List Boutique happens to sell so many great American Vintage finds, and including Casart removable and reusable temporary wallcoverings.
3. The soft look of Linen Revival is a’ looming. Casart first offered Faux Linen, custom, designer, repositionable wallcovering, when we launched in 2009. These are some of our very first finishes that are still available through print-to-order production and can be customized to any color.

We not only have the first 15 original, soft, medium and bold color palettes, but now offer exclusive Mary Douglas Drysdale Signature Colors in Faux Linen and Colorwash. These are bright and bold and pairing them with some of our new Moroccan inspired designs can certainly get you back to #1, Marrakesh Style.

Or go Marrakesh ocher with Mary Douglas Drysdale Oushak Orange.

Finally, for the 4th style trend, get ready for Graphic Modern look with bold colors and oversize patterns. Our French Peacock Damask patterns have lots of bold color that will transport you to an upscale Bazaar and give you that other-worldly, exotic feel.
