August and summer are nearly over but you don’t have to just wave these relaxing days goodbye! Instead, remember and celebrate them!
When the busy days of fall soon start, reflecting on travel memories and surrounding your space with artwork that expresses serenity and peacefulness will seem to reduce stress by recalling those the non-busy, carefree days of summer.
We’ve created a new Wave design as part of our Sea Life Collection for our self-adhesive wallpaper, for this purpose.
Similar to our Sea Spray Mural, the Wave design also shows movement of water. However, it was created using a different artistic technique from floating paint in a water bath called Ebru Art (via Turkey) or Suminagashi (floating art from Japan). The Wave design uses an acrylic paint pour, which was mentioned in our blog post when our Sea Life Collection was introduced.
Similar to the Sea Spray above, the Wave design uses a blue colorway but also with bright, vibrant complementary colors of orange, yellow, cream, olive and black. These colors were chosen to represent the changing nature that water demonstrates. At one moment waves can be peaceful, soothing and calm, with the tide gently lapping onto the sand and the very next moment, turbulence can ensue with ocean waves violently crashing onto the beach. Either way, we learn to ride them with easy-to-install wallcovering.
We’ve also added our Wave design to our Casart Accessories shop. Here are just a few examples but certainly not all. Click this link to see the current Sea Life Treasures Collection. Keep checking back because we are adding more items.
As with our other Sea Life designs, with each $200 purchase from this collection, we give $20 to 4Ocean. In return, this helps them pull one pound of trash from the ocean and create a bracelet made of recycled sea glass that we send to our customer. We hope with a good response we can continue this collaboration but for now it is for a limited time. The bracelets can be given as stocking stuffers for the holidays. Click here to make it happen and read more about our effort with 4Ocean. We are excited about what they are doing and sharing their video below.
