I’m gone for 3 weeks and come back to color, color, color everywhere as in these current magazine issues and their covers!
I opened the first page of the Wisteria catalog and what did i see?
Houzz had an ideabook on the truths and myths about certain colors. And another Houzz ideabook on Yellow, Friend or Foe. I gathered from it that some find it a difficult to work with. I suppose that’s true. I used it in the den and had to adjust swatches three times due to the change in hue at different times of the day, but I think that’s true of any color. Mary Douglas Drysdale has Jefferson Yellow as one of her signature colors and she never seems to have a problem with its boldness.
Mary will be designing a room and giving a presentation at brunch during Antiques In Alexandria, a benefit to help the community of Alexandria, Virginia beginning Thursday, March 7th. One of her Signature Colors for Casart Coverings will be featured on the walls. Can you guess which one? Check back next Thursday for the the answer.
