I’m on several big box company’s email lists. I don’t always pay attention but their notifications lately about Zebrawood and Bamboo peaked my interest because I have a zest for Zebrawood.
The Container Store has great organizational ideas. I used them extensively to get my house organized and now that it is, I don’t frequent as much but I pay attention to their unusual offerings, like their new line of Zebrawood shelving that is a stylish solution to shelving. They must have a zest for Zebrawood designs too.

Although I like the sleek, steel look, there is something about wood’s texture that softens hard edges and brings welcome comfort. Even though the standard, stainless steel shelving look is pretty contemporary, I think, their Zebrawood may put the steel to shame. Wood finishes typically imply traditional style but Zebrawood is thoroughly modern and has been so for quite some time.

What makes Zebrawood so different is its highly striated pattern? When used vertically in a room it can help to visually increase the height.

When used on the horizontal, it can visually elongate a room, making it look more spacious than it might really be, as seen in this modern bathroom.

Traditionally, Zebrawood is a deep, natural brown color interspersed with light tones but Casart Organics wallcovering offers something a little different in hues of red, yellow or customized to any color choice, such as blue:

We’ve mentioned Zebrawood in a few posts before. You can search up at the top or at bottom of our post but here are some for reference:
