Why didn’t we think of that?
Well, I’m kicking myself all over because why we didn’t think of this idea! But it does seem appropriate to blog about it on a Wednesday. Anne Maxwell Foster and Suysel de Pedro Cunningham of Tilton Fenwick (named after both of their freshman college dorms) have just launched a Wallpaper Weekly blog post. This is what they had to say when they introduced it last week. “We’re starting a little weekly post, fondly titled “Wallpaper Weekly,” to be posted each Wednesday (not an alliteration accident!). Wallpaper Weekly will be another outlet for us to share our healthy (healthy?) obsession with wallcovering”. It’s so refreshing to find out that there are others besides ourselves, John Loecke, and Jason Oliver Nixon who are healthily obsessed with wallcovering.
How did I find out about Tilton Fenwick and their clever idea for Wednesdays? There’s a great tour of Suysel’s Woodstock weekend country home in Houzz that led me to their website. Just look at these pictures to wet your appetite then go to Houzz for more.
Here’s what Anne and Suysel have to say about Houzz, in their own words.
“We’re not sure if we’ve been living under a rock, but we recently discovered the great online home design resource, Houzz. CNN calls it “the Wikipedia of exterior and interior design,” not to mention they have 30,000+ followers on facebook! Bottom line is we’re glad we know them now. It’s a great resource to search photos, keep a “lookbook,” discover designers by specialty and location, and find links to new products.” Ah ha! Got the scoop on them at least on this. We’ve known about and followed Houzz for quite some time.
Now, the question is: should we tell them about Casart Coverings or keep that secret to ourselves! After all, look what happened to John and Jason when they learned about Casart. They ended up with camels in their kitchen. Oh well, we can always be found on Houzz.
