Wallpaper is enjoying a surge in popularity largely because of new materials and advancements in printing technologies. Following are some ideas for how you can add visual interest without spending a fortune.
Think not just walls. Think ceilings. Consider applying to the 5th wall for an upward, unexpected surprise. For the Hampton Designer Showhouse Tobi Fairley did punchy, unexpected stripes on a very odd-shaped ceiling but it works.

Casart Light is an excellent product to use because it is light in weight and can be easily installed without getting a crick in your neck or breaking your back.

Less can sometimes be more. Use wallpaper in a bold color or pattern on just one wall and let that be the focus of the room. One wide stripe or several in the same or different colors, used either horizontally or vertically can suffice.

If you have wall panels created with molding, add the wallpaper inside the panels. There’s even an answer if you don’t have the paneled effect but want it. Faux panels.
Think of wallpaper as art. Noa Santos, founder of 50 for 50 affordable design consultation service, suggest using empty frames on a wall and rotate art so a space doesn’t get stale.

Visit Casart’s Katherine Collection of digitally reproduced artist’s works which can be applied right over the glass insert of a frame.
Santos says you get up every morning and put on an outfit you feel great in and furnishing your space shouldn’t be any different. If I had just moved to New York, I’d get in touch with him in a “New York minute”!
