I happen to love Oushaks and have used them in two homes as the base for the room decor. I never thought I would be attracted to an orange rug until my designer, Gerri Bremermann introduced me to a lovely antique one over 30 years ago. There’s something very romantic about the reds, oranges, and golds in a gently faded antique Oushak. Traditional Home’s April issue featured an Oushak from Sotheby’s in Samantha Emmerling’s Paint Palette. Even the names of the accompanying paint colors sound exciting: names like Ambitious Amber and Saucy Gold.

And even Kristen Nicholas’ Family Farm Life Mural.
