Although it’s still spring and the temperature can change from cool to hot at a moment’s notice, it’s not too early to be thinking of fresh air and enjoying the outdoors!
House Beautiful’s May issue has done a wonderful job of “transporting you” while inspiring you to be thinking of the outdoors that awaits you this summer.

Wouldn’t we all want an outdoor “room” like this to serve guests a casual meal and leisurely linger with friends?!
This image just entices you to come inside.
Who doesn’t want to run through a field of lavender?!
Can you imagine this view to wake up to with the lake beckoning you outside?
We haven’t posted all their examples so you’ll pick up the issue to see all of them for yourself. You may be inspired by others.
This is one of the first times we recall in recent history that an outdoor space has been featured so prominently.
Other ways to enjoy the outdoors now, is to click on our previous post about bringing the outdoors inside.
Another fresh air idea for inside is to easily install an Ombré Gradient wallcovering. Especially with April’s rain and gray skies, a Gradient is simply “uplifting” in a subtle way. As its coloration changes, so can it help change your mood.

We have ours in the background of our Japan mural, which is another way to transport you without physically traveling.
Remember you can always customize our wallcoverings.
So if you see something that you like but wish it could be a little different, consider contacting us to make it Custom because we may be able to suggest ways to get what you want and help with visuals, like this recent Butterfly Composite with the hue saturation exaggerated to make the butterflies really pop with color.

Or this concept for a doctor’s office, using a Custom Splatter on the front wall, Custom Gradient colors and POZdesigns Custom Koi Fish Pond Mural.
Would love to hear what you think?
