Casart Coverings has updated its website! The site is now more user-friendly with increased speed, refined detail and simplified navigation to make your online experience with us even better.
Our new look also incorporates our new logo, which maintains our blue branding butterfly, the symbol of transformation, which indicates what you can do with your walls by using Casart wallcoverings.
Casart Coverings’ New Scenoiserie Collection takes the classic chinoiserie theme and transports you and your walls on an exotic journey without ever leaving the comfort of your home.
Because our mural panels are 52″ wide and typical wallpaper is only 20.5 – 28″ wide, Casart Coverings offers vast coverage for classic chinoiserie designs for less cost of traditional, high-end chinoiserie wallpaper, in which standard installation charges would need to be added.
We appreciate the traditional wallpaper favorites from designers such as deGournay, Fromental, Gracie and others. Our wallcovering is different, however, in that is is not applied with standard wallcovering paste or permanent once installed. Instead, our wallcovering uses a self-adhesive backing that gives the customer the convenience of removing it when they want and avoiding the installation fees altogether. Our designs also present a traditional chinoiserie theme in a more graphic-style, contemporary manner.
Christopher Maya was featured in the April 2016 issue of House Beautiful Magazine for his use of vivid, scenic wallpaper from de Gournay’s chinoiserie collection (shown below). It is exciting to see what he has done in this foyer with wallpaper that shares the same traditional floral patterns that have been replicated for centuries. We took the essence of timeless chinoiserie designs and introduced them with a fresh look as part of our Scenoiserie collection.
The Scenoiserie collection also includes exotic travel landscapes. Japan is the first scene in our East Asia series. It used iconic imagery in a fantasy scape that can be used alone or paired with the Chinoiserie panels.
