Answering the call of the blue butterflies…We love helping people and are happy to know folks are reading our blog.
Someone contacted us to ask where could she find the blue butterflies that we referred to in our DC Design House post
when she saw this photo.

They weren’t ours but we sought out an answer. It was like a treasure hunt.
We have a family friend who happened to use blue butterflies in her home to create a sculptural arrangement on her wall.

These are by Transcendent Treasures and they are made out of recycled cans that are then painted. She got them on Etsy.
Although they are not the same, we think they are beautiful and eco-friendly.
We had mentioned that the caller might want to contact the designers mentioned in the post to see where they got their butterflies.
But we also liked other ones we saw when searching. These are also on Etsy.

Then we remembered one of our favorite butterfly artists and the post we did on Nadine Kalachnikoff.

And then there was this Butterflies are Everywhere post we did on another blue sculptural artwork that always captivated our attention.
Similarly, these are also made of recycled metal cans but not painted, in an interior design by Myra Hoefer.

Actually, we’ve written a lot of posts on butterflies, come to think of it.
