Thoughts from out intern William.
Growing up around an artist allows you to notice certain things that an average person wouldn’t normally appreciate. My father is renowned in the greater Los Angeles for his impeccable slipcovers. After seeing so many flawlessly tailored slipcovers, tightly bound and perfectly aligned from base to back cushion, I have come to learn the art that is upholstery. This passion for art goes beyond the style of the furniture itself or the slipcover, it includes the fabrics, patterns, throw pillows, and how they all mesh together to make a beautiful combination, perfect for their setting within each particular home. Here are some examples in production.
That is why Casart Coverings caught my attention. The idea of a “slipcover for your wall” is something that I not only understand but also is very intriguing and marketable to me. The fact that you can turn a simple wall into something artistic and aesthetically pleasant, while further enhancing and accenting the other pieces in the room, is second to none. And to top it off you can remove the wallcovering whenever you feel the need to change the design of the room, without any damage to the walls! This is a product that covers all your bases, first off it is beautiful and will enhance the design of any particular room, secondly it is completely practical and easy to use, and lastly it is a “green” product being that it is removable and reusable.
I don’t believe the internet does the product justice. You must see the product up close, and feel the quality to understand how great it is. I encourage everyone that I speak to about the product to, not only, visit the website but also order some samples so that they understand the product fully.
So that is why this product is something that I believe is extremely groundbreaking in the interior design industry. It is beautiful yet subtle and can be used in both a living room as well as a child’s room. It is extremely artistic yet practical. I look forward to sharing my thoughts and ideas over the next few months.
