I’m thinking of a Coastal Christmas where the weather is so warm, and the palm trees rustle with each wave tussle, to see seashells in the sand.
Oh, I’m thinking of a Coastal Christmas, where the snow would melt just fine, but the sense of Christmas would still be with us because it’s just this time of year.
I’m thinking of a Coastal Christmas with every umbrella drink in hand, while the sand pipers scurry and the sea foam glistens to sparkle on sunbathers while they swim.
I’m thinking of a Coastal Christmas, with every sun ray that’s so bright. May your winter days be so breezy with delight and may this year’s Christmas be more than white.
We thought we’d bring you a little Coastal Cheer for the wintery days ahead and inspire ways to spruce up your space with bright and airy designs from The Karen Robertson Collection for Casart coverings. — our new offering for this Christmas Season that will last long after the winter frost has changed to spring.
Karen Robertson is a talented designer from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, who we had the pleasure of meeting at High Point Market this year. We were completely bowled over by her brilliant ways to compose arrangements with seashells and marine life forms, as well as pairing them with her marine motifs on fabrics and rugs. The only thing missing was wallcovering. We have partnered to offer Karen’s exceptional designs on our removable and reusable wallcovering. Here are just a few ways of how her designs can be used showing some room installations along with details from her collection.
For the first time, we are offering stripes in 3, 6, 12 ad 24″ widths and multiple heights. We have had a lot of interest in stripes. Just think, no more measuring, mess, time-consuming taping, laborious painting and then tedious touch-up painting, which can take forever, to get a sophisticated stripe look. We offer two of Karen’s colors in Aqua and Oyster. These can be used vertically as well as horizontally. All can be customized to extended heights and lengths. Stay tuned as we have many more colors and designs to offer in the Karen Roberstson Collection for 2012. In the meantime, let us know how you like these.
Karen Robertson Collection Stripes are also offered for horizontal use as seen in this example.
While we’re on Coastal, we should mention the many Casart designs we have for hand-painted, faux plaster shells or with faux panels, that can be placed on doors or cabinet fronts to instantly add style. We also have starfish pattern wallcovering and stair risers. Any of our designs can be paired with the real thing, if you swing on over to Karen Robertson Collection to browse her multitude of shadow-box-framed sea urchins, for instance, to tortoise shells. You may want to stow or forget the antlers this Christmas and use these coastal designs, knowing that 2012 has seashells and coral and anything marine theme inspired on the design horizon (from Highlights on High Point – Nov. 2011 eNewsletter).
Another great initiative we want to tell you about is our newly launched Casart Creative. The next post may be just about this as it is deserving of its own feature but we wanted to get the word out, especially if you’re not on our newsletter mailing and weren’t one of the first ones to hear it first from Casart. This video helps to explain how you can celebrate New Year’s or any get together by using some ideas here or your own with Casart Creative. We also include game suggestions in your box. We’d like to help you co-create your own artistic party and save the memories for years to come. View our creative video by our social media manager, William DeBarros, and be inspired to create your own creation with Casart.
Cheers!
