They grow up so fast

Kids, they really do grow up so fast. I know it’s a cliché but it is so true.

I’m getting ready to attend my youngest son’s high school graduation. Hard to believe. It seems like yesterday that both my sons were in grammar school. Now I have a Junior in college and one about to enter college.

I continue to mark their heights on two allocated door jambs (one for each). My older son towers over me and Jackson, my youngest is getting close. I’ll have to remove the jambs one day to hand them over but somehow they won’t have the same significance as if I had something that was more easily removable and more art worthy.
