It’s a new year and we have a new intern.
We encourage college age students to apply for marketing and other internships at Casart coverings. We’ve been lucky to have some fantastic interns over the last year, including students from William & Mary, Georgetown and American University. This is a new year, so it seems fitting to start it off right with another intern.
I’d like to introduce you to William Müller, our new intern for Casart coverings. He is finishing up his Senior Year at Catholic University with an anticipated degree in Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Marketing. He has quite an interesting background working for Members of Congress, political campaigns and being a waiter and a volunteer football coach for 7th and 8th graders, all taking patience and hard work. His specialty is in researching target segments and constructing marketing plans as well as implementing and managing these plans. His experience will be very helpful for us and in turn we hope to provide him with a lot of hands-on work that seems to be right up his alley.
We asked him why he was interested in Casart coverings. Not only does he want to have a learning experience where he can apply the practical application of what he has learned in his studies, but it turns out that he grew up with an appreciation for interior design and the quality of high-end furnishings. His father is a master furniture upholsterer and has run his company Alexander Muller Custom Upholstered Furniture for over 40 years. Some of his clients have been California’s most well known interior designers, including Tony Duquette, a legendary interior designer to the Hollywood set. Recently, his son Patrick has joined the business to ensure that his father’s company’s long-standing position continues as he runs Müller & Sons.
