This post is a quick update on the progress that we’ve made for obtaining 250 votes in order to qualify for the Mission Small Business, $250,000 grant being offered to 12 recipients through Chase Bank & Living Social.
We’ve had a tremendous response and are nearly there! In 2.5 weeks we are up to 216 votes already with your help!! That’s at record pace, considering we came into this late in the game.
We want to thank all of those who have voted but still need your help! We are so grateful to have your support and we hope you will continue to do so by encouraging your friends to vote. We have 12 more days to get through this first phase just to be considered so please do not wait. Here are the easy, 5 second steps again for reference:
1. Go the the Mission Small Business link and click Support on the right
2. Login with Facebook account (no registration required to vote
3. Search Casart in the businesses (no city or state needed)
4. When we popup, click vote and you’ll see “supported” to confirm your vote
5. Please share with your friends on your Facebook wall and ask them to vote.
We can’t do it without you!
This grant would help us among many things to expand our efforts working with our local community as we have through HomebodyDC (contemporary home accessories retail), Samina Vieth (prop stylist) and Yulia Mikhalchuk (photography) to produce some of our recent photos.
