We were so happy to be able to contribute proceeds from our September Gulf Coast Recovery campaign as fashionable holiday gifts to Gulf Coast Recovery Charitable efforts, particularly The Louisiana Gulf Coast Response. This is a consortium of multiple organizations, including: <span “Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program, the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana, the National Audubon Society and The Nature Conservancy, which have all joined together to help restore wetlands across Louisiana. We also were able to contribute to the Greater New Orleans Foundation, which we have added to our website. This group helps contribute to the livelihoods of the fishermen affected by the oil spill with their Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund.
We hope to continue this effort with your help. We have 36 different designed Casart Carryalls — classic shoulder bags and totes — from which to choose and 10% of each purchase goes to these charitable efforts.
