We have been remiss in not posting our designing with Drysdale project with Mary Douglas Drysdale before now. She’s one of the most talented interior designers and we were very fortunate to have an opportunity to work with her this past October.
We posted the initial mention of the project but now we can post the final outcome, and how fitting since Mary was just profiled in Decorati, Home & Design and DC by Design with a post regarding Casart Coverings just this past week.
Mary used Casart temporary wallcovering in her photos for her upcoming book. Seeing her construct the photos in her mind and then sketch those ideas on paper was just a magical experience for me — a window into her creative process. The outcome is just as she envisioned and even more than we could have hoped for. With her permission, we have posted these here for your enjoyment as well.
Of further interest, there will be a Wednesday’s post on Art Is Everywhere regarding Social Media during a business lecture I gave, in which both Mary and Jennifer Sergent (DC by Design) attended. They both had insightful advice and Mary gave hers about designing with Drysdale on social platforms.
My sister and I are so impressed with Mary’s ability to jump right in and navigate this Internet wave and Jennifer’s new foray into blogging. These ladies are real inspirations for any businesswoman and all those in the Interior Design industry!
