I love butterflies and they are free to fly, what can I say?! I like that bugs can be beautiful. There’s something odd about that dichotomy.
Our logo has the transformation of a butterfly from a prickly caterpillar to a beautiful Blue Morpho. It represents the life cycle’s transformation and beauty that can occur everyday, right under our noses.

As it happens, butterflies are quite “in” these days in design, from jewelry, plates, lampshades, note cards, cachepots, fabric and even advertisements. View these magazine examples:

Butterflies symbolize rebirth, as does Casart Coverings. We are all about transformation. Just like butterflies, we are free to fly.
Hey, here are some of our butterflies, like the Swallowtail, Monarch, Lemon Emigrant, and Silver Studded Blue butterflies on this colour blog about colors in nature.
Here’s a composite of all of the butterflies that I’ve hand painted on our website as a Butterfly Composite wallcovering. They are being featured on The Shabby Chic Cottage this week as a giveaway. Hurry up, because before you know it, they will have flown away!

Here they are below as a Casart composite reusable art wallcovering that can be purchased on our website.

Here’s a similar post on my other blog, Art Is Everywhere, with some butterfly music to kick start your weekend, early!
