It was an uncanny surprise to see a black and white “outline” mural as part of the Pompidou Museum’s new acquisition in Paris from SKWAK Murals.

When I first saw the picture, I was reminded of our Flower Power design in black and white outlines.

Then I realized that the SKWAK Murals are interactive — they are meant for children (and adults) to come into the exhibit and color sections within the mural, as seen in this picture. How much fun. Remember how much you used to like to color?

We have just introduced our Casart Creative concept, in which unprinted Casart can be ordered for creating your own abstract creations or can be printed with photos transferred into outline or color trace formation. However, we have had designs all along that one can color anyway one chooses, interactively as above, like our Flower Power or even our Birds & Birch.

Of course these all come in color versions too but the black and white allows you to be creative and make these designs your own. This could be used for an novel, interactive party where throughout the night different colors are added by individuals with markers or paint. Do you have any leftover interior-house paint? Now you know what you can use it for and the design will match your décor too. You’ll start out with black and white but will end with an serendipitous color in the end — and you won’t have to travel all the way to Paris to add your creative mark.
