In honor of Earth Day tomorrow here is a very cool recycling design idea. Find a door at a salvage yard or even from your house and use it in an entirely different way. Below are a few DIY ideas that could really make a space unique. I saw the cutest table on & Unlimited Dogs made from a door. In fact this door came from a plantation home that was being renovated.

Another DIY table idea using a door comes from Julia Crawford through Design Sponge. You can even change out the inserts with different papers to change up the room a bit. Below is what the table looks like with paper inserts.
Why stop at reusing your door in a different way, try an old cabinet front? Planet Green does just that. This is an old cabinet front used as a serving tray.
I hope some of these ideas can inspire you on Earth Day to use what you already have and transform it into something completely different. It’s a great but fun challenge.
In the meantime, remember you can always reuse Casart wallcovering when you want to change styles or have a different look. You can reuse Casart wallpaper not only on other walls, but Casart wallpaper can be easily repurposed onto doors, cabinet fronts, stair risers, tables — most any smooth surface.
