A Touch of Toile

I used to be frightened of toile. Not really sure why but I was. It wasn’t until I saw this touch of toile used in a modern way and not all over the entire room, including furniture, that I realized how nice it can look.  I even used it in my house.

Here are a few other toile inspired looks.

I highly recommend using toile in a tiny space.  It brings elegance and somehow forces the walls to expand.

Feeling regal?  Here’s a combination of toile and a bit of gilded molding to inspire you.

It’s perfect for a child’s room.  Boy or girl.  Mix it with polka dots or stripes.

So, embrace the toile.  But, keep it to a minimum because a little can go a long way.
