Thankful for Thanksgiving Colors

When we think of Thanksgiving, we think of all the things we are thankful for while usually gathering around an abundance of food to celebrate with family.

Here are some visual reasons to be thankful for Thanksgiving colors.

The humble turkey is typically the foundation around which the Thanksgiving meal is planned.

In the South, we smother ours with marshmallows….yum, a vegetable dessert!

OK, gotta get a green in there. Often it’s green beans maybe with almonds or bacon (or both) — you decide.

But if you’re to add bacon, you might as well consider brussel sprouts. They taste much better than you might think, plus they have more nutrients and are considered a “super” food.

Well, we’re back to orange because what would Thanksgiving be without the anticipated pumpkin pie?
