About Artist Peter Zierlein

We are thrilled to introduce POZdesigns by internationally renowned illustrator and designer Peter O. Zierlein, whose client list includes The New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Berliner Zeitung, Stern, Der Spiegel, Le Monde Diplomatique, AUDI a.o., has in recent years turned to cutting paper to create patterns for textiles and wallpaper, as well as fine art paper cut collage prints for interior decoration and hospitality clients.

Zierlein’s German sense of design with simply elegant, hand-cut paper shapes with sparse detail is a meditation on balance and harmony.

Secondly, they are custom printed on self-adhesive vinyl wallcovering with a unique pressure-sensitive backing that allows them to be easily removed and reused without tools or damage to walls. Thirdly, our Casart Light fabric version can also be used on ceilings. Most importantly, they offer the look and luxury of high-end wallpaper without its permanence and labor intensive installation.
