We are all taken aback by the effects of Hurricane Sandy. When I see the images, I’m stricken with eery memories of living through Hurricane Katrina<\/a>, while my family was in New Orleans, which was a nightmare. Although many in NJ and NY especially are still without power, with damage done to homes and even lives lost, it’s heartwarming to see those who can help step up to do so. The service providers are also the ones to thank. Seeing so much that you’ve known about your home town change in a flash really rocks you, even if you were lucky enough to be unscathed personally by the storm. Click on this Google Crisis Map<\/a> and you can see just how large an area has been hit.<\/p>\n

We are keeping those affected by Hurricane Sandy in our thoughts and want to list several places here where you can help if you choose. We are have put a banner on our blog for donations, have sent some funding as well as clothing.<\/p>\n
