When I saw this Natori gown, not only did I think it was beautiful, but I was inspired by it&#8217;s deep plum color. <em>Traditional Home<\/em> magazine featured it as part of its Iconic Designs in their September issue. I happen to like Josie Natori&#8217;s quote, &#8220;I have always believed there are no boundaries&#8230;What began with lingerie has evolved into a lifestyle.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_869\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-869\" style=\"width: 402px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-869 \" title=\"color-plum-ref909casartblog-2.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/casartblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/color-plum-ref909-2.jpg\" alt=\"Natori plum colored gown. Mine here was fashion that helped inspire our plum colored,<a title=\"Organic: faux-padded headboard\" href=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/product-category\/casart-organics-removable-vinyl-wallpaper\/organics-headboards-reusable-wallpaper\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Casart Faux-padded headboard<\/a>. Traditional Home September 2009<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It turns out that the plum color in interior design is au courant as seen here, again in <em><a title=\"Traditional Home Magazine's 20th anniversary issue\" href=\"https:\/\/www.traditionalhome.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Traditional Home&#8217;s<\/a><\/em> paint color profile. I guess if plum is the color of summer fruit, then I wouldn&#8217;t say it is fading.
