&#8211; Clean, Clear, Water"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We don&#8217;t do this sort of thing often, but today&#8217;s post will be a departure.\u00a0 This will be about water.\u00a0 Specifically, potable, clean, clear water.\u00a0 That is one of the many things we take for granite.\u00a0 Living in New Orleans, which is below sea level, water is very important for a different reason.\u00a0 We know the suffering of having too much water.\u00a0 On the other hand, there are many in the world who don&#8217;t have access to any water or have to walk great distances to get water from dirty streams.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7892\" title=\"imagesCADNZCVE-water\" src=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/casartblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/imagesCADNZCVE-water-e1330576728211.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"299\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, I received a post from Scout and Nimble that really struck a nerve.\u00a0 It is about an effort to provide funding to give 500 people in two villages access to clean drinking water.\u00a0 It&#8217;s about one blogger&#8217;s determination to succeed.\u00a0 It&#8217;s about caring and generosity.\u00a0 Jesse tells her story beautifully so please take a moment to read it https:\/\/scoutandnimble.com\/2012\/02\/29\/funny-thing-called-fear\/<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been to Africa 4 times.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve seen the conditions in which many people there live.\u00a0 <a title=\"Casart-coverings\" href=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casart Coverings <\/a>supports a wonderful organization, <a title=\"bicycles-for-humanity\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bicycles-for-humanity.org\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bicycles for Humanity,<\/a> which provides bicycles to villages and trains villagers to repair them.\u00a0 The bicycles enable AIDS nurses to reach their patients quicker as well as provide the village with a revenue producing project.<\/p>\n<p>So I wanted to do something more than just make a donation to help Jesse reach her goal.\u00a0 I thought that if I wrote about it I could help spread the word.\u00a0 The organization Jesse is raising funds for is <a title=\"charity-water\" href=\"https:\/\/www.charitywater.org\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Charity: Water<\/a> and 100% of public donations directly fund potable, clear. clear water projects in developing countries.\u00a0 Just think about how your life would change if you couldn&#8217;t turn on a faucet for clean water to brush your teeth, take a shower, or fill a glass with clear water to drink.\u00a0 How many friends do you have in your email address book that you could forward this information to?\u00a0 Then, before you brush your teeth, take a shower, or take a drink of water, won&#8217;t you
