In Step With The Dragon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2012 is the Year of the Dragon; one of the most revered of the <a title=\"int.-business-times-year-of the-dragon\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ibtimes.com\/articles\/285634\/20120122\/chinese-new-year-2012-predictions-dragon.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chinese New Year calendar.<\/a> \u00a0 Those born under the sign are regarded as innovative, passionate people who are colorful, confident, quick-tempered, enterprising, flexible and fearless.\u00a0 Dragon years have elements of earth, fire, wood, metal and water.\u00a0 This year is associated with water.\u00a0 Things happen quickly, as with a rushing river and not like a calm lake or pond.\u00a0 This serpent brings\u00a0 progression, riches and abundance, but it can also bring about unpredictable, sudden events especially associated with water, like floods.\u00a0 Unlike the dragon in Western culture that is slain by St. George, the Eastern reptile is considered a symbol of good fortune and power.<\/p>\n<p>Traditional Home&#8217;s February\/March 2012 issue pays design homage to the Year of the Dragon with everything from teapots to if Angelina Jolie has one.\u00a0 She does!\u00a0 In fact she has two; both are partially covered by two other tattoos amongst her more than a dozen!\u00a0 Amazing the things you learn writing a post!\u00a0 I guess I really should try once more to read the book if I&#8217;m going to keep in step with the dragon.<\/p>\n<p>2013 will be the Year of the Water Snake.\u00a0 I can hardly wait!<\/p>\n<p>Although we don&#8217;t have snakes or reptiles in our wallcovering designs, yet, we do have a depiction of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/shop\/scenoiserie-wallcovering\/east-asia-removable-wallpaper\/china-mural\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">China<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/product-category\/scenoiserie-wallcovering\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asian Cultures<\/a> that revere this beast.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;\u00a0 Lorre
