There is so much to see and so much to do. We have a plan but I hope we accomplish it. While I gather my thoughts and can write about the experience upon my return, here&#8217;s the third post in the series for Pantone&#8217;s color forecast for 2012. I&#8217;ll let you know if any of these colors are in the prototypes predicted for next year. How well manufacturers are adhering to Pantone&#8217;s predictions has yet to be determined.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7059\" title=\"blue_chips_bellflower3 via Mahonia Vineyards and Nurseries\" src=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/casartblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/blue_chips_bellflower3.jpg\" alt=\"blue_chips_bellflower3 via Mahonia Vineyards and Nurseries, as seen on casartblog\" width=\"96\" height=\"72\" \/> Bellflower is the <a title=\"Previous post on Pantone's Color Predictions\" href=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/casartblog\/10-color-predictions-%E2%80%93-solar-power-is-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">third selection in Pantone&#8217;s choice<\/a>. It&#8217;s a soft lavender-blue with hints of lilac, we&#8217;ll just call it purple for ease.\u00a0 Purple Haze maybe, as all these colors seem a little reminiscent of the 60&#8217;s. Purple Haze was the name of my wonderful art teacher&#8217;s house. He was a free spirit but a fantastic teacher. I&#8217;m digressing into a haze&#8230;must be High Point.<\/p>\n<p>I really like this soft color, as it is the color of my office and I also have bellflowers growing in my garden. I ran across a few examples of what magazines have shown with purple over the years. It&#8217;s interesting to me to go back and see how things have progressed and or reverted in the comparison with the present.
