Have you seen our new design? It’s getting on the map!<\/p>\n

Here’s the introduction — a world map that you can customize, remove and reuse and for your ceiling!! We are getting on the map, both literally and figuratively. We were included in Nate Berkus Show’s <\/em>profile on John Loecke’s and Jason Oliver Nixon’s interior design with their Indian Print printed as a custom Casart wallcovering in their Madcap Cottage on last Wednesday’s show and our Mary Douglas Drysdale Signature Colors<\/a> for Casart Coverings <\/a>were featured on the first page of New and Next Designs in Traditional Home<\/em> last weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our new World Map Mural<\/a> is part of our Ceiling Murals Collection<\/a>. It comes in one large size but can be customized to smaller dimensions and colors. The artwork was originally conceived and painted as a custom project and took way less time and expense than painting on site. Plus I saved my neck and back in the process and hassle for my client to be underfoot for an extended amount of time. It took a couple hours to install rather than many weeks had I painted on location. But the best part is the owner can now take it with her when and if she moves. Her investment for custom decorative painting is now extremely practical and all the more enjoyable. It gives her the look that she wants and the flexibility of removing and reusing. Had this work been painted on canvas, it still would have been “wallpapered” to the wall and involved a messy removal process, in which no doubt would have entailed damage that would have incurred more expense to fix. Thankfully all these hassles were avoided with a Casart solution.<\/p>\n

Here are the stages of how this began.\"\"<\/p>\n

1) It starts with an idea –\u00a0 Bing \u2022 Light Bulb insertion here!<\/p>\n

2) Dialogue and collaboration to get the right design and look — that’s the fun part.<\/p>\n

3) Approval of mock design.<\/p>\n

4) Illustration is painted and final approval is given.<\/p>\n

5) Design is configured for printing.<\/p>\n

6) Printed proof to test colors is approved.<\/p>\n

7) Final print to size is printed.<\/p>\n

8) Client has Casart in hand.<\/p>\n

9) Installation.<\/p>\n

10) Enjoyment for years to come!<\/p>\n
