Places Casart Coverings<\/a> has been seen recently include:<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 an article by Marni Jameson, who is widely syndicated, appeared in numerous publications across the U.S.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 our Teal Crawfish Cotillion<\/a> in Inside\/Out in the Times Picayune https:\/\/photos.nola.com\/tpphotos\/2011\/08\/cool06zip_9.html<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 The Visual Vamp \u00a0 https:\/\/thevisualvamp.blogspot.com\/2011\/08\/slipcovers-for-your-walls.html<\/a> and https:\/\/thevisualvamp.blogspot.com\/2011\/08\/dorm-decor.html<\/a><\/p>\n

Fond places seen…Whenever we’d visit New York my husband and I would be sure to include a trip to Cafe Des Artistes.\u00a0 It was a smokey, crowded, dark Art Deco wonder with good food but better ambiance…a place to see and be seen.<\/p>\n

We all know restaurants and places like that.\u00a0 Here in New Orleans, it’s Friday lunch at Galatoire’s,<\/a> which has a few years (founded in 1905) on Cafe (1917) and is still going strong serving 4th generation family recipes brought from Pardies, France.<\/p>\n

Cafe Des Artistes closed in 2009 but has recently reopened as The Leopard at Des Artistes.\u00a0<\/a> It’s now a Sicilian restaurant.\u00a0 Since I was in Sicily in April, I’ll be sure to dine there next time I’m in New York.\u00a0 It’s been cleaned and brightened but Howard Chandler Christy’s nubile nymphs still cavort across the walls in an ethereal manner.\u00a0 Being that some are mounted directly on the wall, I suppose that’s a good thing they didn’t try to remove them.\u00a0 Now, if only Casart Coverings<\/a> had been around back then, they could have easily been removed now without damage to them or to the walls!<\/p>\n

I’m told the literati and politicos alike flock to the Leopard as they did Cafe Des Artistes and elected officials as well as CEOs stand in line in front of Galatoire’s waiting for a table downstairs where you want to see and be seen!<\/p>\n
