In the spirit of Spring and the Easter\u00a0 Season, this is a tribute to Flower Power<\/a> — the humble but lovely flower and its use in interior design. Hark, but we also have an important announcement below.<\/p>\n

I love the way Roberto Bergero uses this artistic tulip as a headboard for his interior design feature in Veranda<\/em><\/a> magazine’s April issue.* His quote not only states his design philosophy, “I treat interiors as if they were stage sets<\/em>,” but he puts the flower front and center in his design.<\/p>\n

I can think of many examples where flowers, as a colorful reminder of Nature, are brought indoors but this beautiful design of floral wrought iron in Nobu’s restaurant makes it apparent and sets the stage for Japanese theme for design and food. With sensitivity to Japan’s current crisis, they are giving proceeds from their meals to help in the effort for Japan’s recovery.<\/p>\n

This Flower Power design recalls that when you think of florals in interior design, drapes can come to mind. This is a wonderful example of making it modern with a bold floral representation.<\/p>\n

What about going all out and filling that wall space with flowers? Here’s Casart’s take on bold, botanical, floral repositionable wallcovering<\/a> that is removable and reusable. I have to just add this is a great, victorious moment for America and a blow to terrorism — a unified day to celebrate in a much bigger way, with news that pays tribute to all our American intelligence efforts and military for all their 10 years of fighting — today we finally have some justice! America has and will continue to persevere in this fight but I like to think these flowers in this post are symbolic of long-awaited and well-deserved resolution and peace, exemplified in Flower Power.)<\/p>\n
