This style is for you but which one? Traditional?\u00a0 Modern?\u00a0 Country?\u00a0 Eclectic?\u00a0 Glamorous?\u00a0 Casual?\u00a0 Romantic?\u00a0 What’s the best style?<\/p>\n

It’s Yours, but don’t expect that to remain static as in a vacuum.\u00a0 Our likes and dislikes change along with us as we go through life. Think of your home as an on-going process that can be constantly added to or subtracted from.\u00a0 It should evolve over a period of time; not be finished in a blink.<\/p>\n

The 2011 January issue of Home <\/em>is a special issue on staging to sell or to keep.\u00a0 The introduction states that “for some people, infusing a home with individual style comes as naturally as breathing.\u00a0 For others, sifting through a dizzying array of paints, fabrics, furnishings and fixtures can overwhelm their attempts to find their own visual voice.”\u00a0 The trick is to consider the character of your home.\u00a0 Learn to accept but minimize your home’s limitations.\u00a0 You can’t fill a cottage with heavy antiques and expect it to suddenly look like a mansion.\u00a0 However, “seasonal designers and people with a sure sense of style mix and match furnishings and accents of different styles and eras to keep traditional setting from feeling staid or contemporary spaces from feeling arid.”<\/p>\n
