Victoriana, the most traditional look is built using the formula of the tripartite wall: a dado, the lower portion of the wall, is often covered with wainscoting or lincrusta (embossed wallpaper) and topped with a chair rail; the wall fill, which is the major portion, sits atop the chair rail; and at the wall top goes the frieze, which is a border above the picture rail, ranging in depth from 12
