After they got their answers they challenged four designers to revamp their library spaces in hopes to attract more teens. Kathleen Hom writes about, &#8220;The Library Teen Scene&#8221; in the <em>Washington Post<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The ideal space for teens to study was &#8220;a place that specifically welcomed them: not secluded or segregated, but not upfront and conspicuous with neon colors either; comfortable and sophisticated, but not trying too hard to be young and stylish.&#8221; Here&#8217;s an illustrated concept below following designer <a title=\"Design Project Company website\" href=\"https:\/\/www.projectdesigncompany.com\/about\/team\/dan-banks-creative-director-owner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dan Banks<\/a> ideas for the Quince Orchard High School Library:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_488\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-488\" style=\"width: 437px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-488\" title=\"Teen Scene illustration byJulius Goyanko.
