Although July 4th Independence Day has past, we’ve found ways to celebrate summer with American Style all year long.<\/p>\n

\"American<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that there is not just one American Style, however. American Style is simply a characteristic associated with the United States. Since The United States is a “melting pot,” mixture of many people with multiple backgrounds and ancestral heritage, this can mean a lot of different things for what American style should be. Americans do have common cultural values<\/a>, namely: freedom; independence and self-reliance; patriotism and equal opportunity to live the American Dream to achieve a better standard of living with liberty and the pursuit of happiness.<\/p>\n

These values are so eloquently stated by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”<\/em><\/p>\n

American style is your freedom to express yourself in your home as you wish. For instance, if you love plants, use them as a focal point, or if you live in Miami, play up your location with a tropical punch style.<\/p>\n

An easy and interesting way to express your interests while adding noticeable color in red, white and blue is to arrange your books in color blocks.<\/p>\n

Patriotic style can certainly be achieved with flourishes that incorporate traditional red, white and blue, American flag colors.<\/p>\n
