Do you have flowers in mind for a Mother’s Day gift this Sunday? Why just give or receive a single bouquet when you can celebrate with never-fading flowers for May and all year round. No, it’s not a miracle to have flowers that never fade but it can be possible with a pretty amazing wallcovering. And according to the latest in interior design, you’ll be decorating in style as floral and nature decor with bold color is all the rage. Personally, we think this never goes out of style, and even if it does, it tends to return.<\/p>\n

We like flowers in design, especially when they make an impact or when they are presented in a different way than expected, which is why we cascaded our Asia Blossom design<\/a> from the top down, rather than the conventional direction from the bottom up, as most murals are depicted. Ours is an unusual concept! Even VanGogh depicted his famous Almond Blossoms with a bottom to top presentation.<\/p>\n

We’ve always enjoyed this image of these hand-painted flowers because their giant scale makes you feel as if you’re an ant enjoying their beautiful canopy that surrounds and envelops you. Like our Asia Blossom with its small scale blossoms, this large-scale floral rendering is also Nature glorified in an interior space. Unlike the Asia Blossom, these flowers cover the entire space. They are taken from Manuel Canovas’ fabric, seen on the sofa and in the model’s dress. There is a pattern but they’ve been enlarged, cropped and painted on the wall to depict just one section.<\/p>\n

We also wanted to create a floral concept of being completely surrounded by flowers. We certainly wouldn’t try to copy Manuel Canovas’ original design just because it was in a magazine or on the Internet.\u00a0 (This would infringe on this company’s copyright — particularly without their permission — and would be just unfair to their creation.)\u00a0 So we created a different design with our Flower Power<\/a>. Our pattern is indescernable because every space is filled with flowers. It is like standing in front of a Rose Bowl Parade float.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not over focus on color blocking as historic patterns are being recreated with the strongest new trend: a white background<\/strong>.\u00a0Foresee\u00a0fabrics and\u00a0wall coverings\u00a0bringing small and massive florals with white backdrops, vintage prints with a twist of white, bold colors and patterns thrown onto a white canvas\u2026. you get the jist! Whatever it is do it on white to make it in style.<\/em><\/p>\n
