Nursery rhymes, fairy tales and tales with moral messages are part of childhood. An article in the October\/November issue of <a title=\"cottages and bungalows magazine\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hillaryblack.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cottages &amp; Bungalows<\/a> explores period imagery designed exclusively for children. A recent exhibit titled \u201cWall Stories: Children\u2019s Wallpapers and Books\u201d, at the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum in New York, noted the relationship between decorative wallpapers and storybooks. Covering the period from their origin in the 1870s to the present, the exhibit illustrated how the profound societal and economic changes of the 19<sup>th<\/sup> and early 20<sup>th<\/sup> century effected the development of children\u2019s books and wallpapers. As a result of the Industrial Revolution, families moved into larger homes, and children had their own rooms, which needed decorating. The wallpapers selected were often adaptations of illustrations for children\u2019s books.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Posts on <a title=\"vintage travel art inspiration\" href=\"https:\/\/www.coochicoos.com\/nursery-design\/nursery-design-inspired-by-vintage-travel-art.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coochicoos<\/a> and ohdeedoh, sites which focus on children, both feature a child\u2019s room decorated with murals inspired by vintage travel posters and David Wiesner\u2019s illustrations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">As a child, the last images Wiesner saw before going to sleep were the books, rockets, elephant heads, and clocks that decorated the wallpaper in his room. Later, at the Rhode Island School of Design, he further explored his passion for wordless storytelling. He has illustrated more than 20 award winning children\u2019s books.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Since all of us at <a title=\"casart coverings\" href=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Casart Coverings<\/a> are moms, we thought it important to include designs for children and introduced our <a title=\"t3-tots, tweens and teens\" href=\"https:\/\/www.casartcoverings.com\/t3.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">t3 removable wallpaper designs <\/a>for tots, tweens and teens this fall. With growth charts, balloons, fireflies, butterflies and splatter, there is something to please every age group.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a
