I was glad to wander upon this quick video of DC’s Design House,<\/p>\n

which was recently renovated and decorated by 29 designers and design firms.<\/p>\n

The proceeds benefit Children’s National Health System<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We recently had a personal medical experience with our youngest adult son’s surgery regarding an issue he has had since childhood.<\/p>\n

Although Children’s is a large facility and you can easily feel like a number in comparison to smaller medical hospitals, it was very impressive. We had state of the art care and\u00a0 felt like we were in good hands throughout.<\/p>\n

My personal favorite was how Joanne Fitzgerald of Gat\u00e9ga Interior Design<\/a> not only used dramatic wallpaper in a small space,<\/p>\n

as did Camille Saum<\/a> throughout the entry (3 stories high), but Fitzgerald<\/p>\n

turned strip mosaic tile on the vertical to surprise the senses at the sink in a small bathroom.<\/p>\n

What an innovated way to use!<\/p>\n

This reminds me of a tiny treasured jewel box.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The DC Design House is open for a month for public viewing and benefiting this worthy cause through May 13.<\/p>\n
