(Houzz)<\/li>\n<li>How many interior design professionals \/ square mile (Houzz)<\/li>\n<li>How many interior design businesses per capita? (Yelp)<\/li>\n<li>The presence of a top ranking design school. (More schools = more points)<\/li>\n<li>The ratio of the average living room remodel cost vs. annual income.<\/li>\n<li>The ratio of the living room remodel cost vs. home value.<\/li>\n<li>The ratio of the average d\u00e9cor spend vs. annual income.<\/li>\n<li>The ratio of the average d\u00e9cor spend vs home value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The goal was see if they could answer the most important question of all \u2013 how much disposable income is being spent on interior design?<\/p>\n<p>Here are the winners and a countdown for which city is in the number for the highest design Town is known for being highly cultured, despite its nickname.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusions, Elite Fixtures had this to say.\u00a0 &#8220;We suppose it\u2019s not too surprising that colder cities (where people spend more time indoors) have a higher affinity for interior design.
