The transitive verb, personalize, means to mark (something) in a way that shows it belongs to a particular person. Wikipedia <\/a>defines personalization as using technology to accommodate the differences between individuals. Once confined mainly to the <\/i>Web<\/i>, it is becoming a factor in <\/i>education<\/i>, <\/i>health care<\/i> (i.e. <\/i>personalized medicine<\/i>), <\/i>television<\/i>, and in both “business to business” and “business to consumer” settings. Social Network websites use personal data to provide relevant advertisements for their users. Websites like <\/i>Google<\/i> and <\/i>Facebook<\/i> are using account information to give better services<\/i>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I will begin by personalizing<\/b> my internship.\u00a0 Looking back on my experince with Casart Coverings<\/a>, (I know it’s not the standard capital C for coverings, but it Does personalize<\/strong> Casart) I am extremely grateful.\u00a0 Though balancing my schoolwork with the work from my internship was difficult, I learned a lot about time management and organization \u00a0 My initial goals were to learn more about business and marketing and how to implement necessary skills I may need for the future.\u00a0 I ended up learning much more.\u00a0 I learned important things to consider when marketing a certain product and how much thought and work goes into advertising.\u00a0 I learned the extensive research involved in crafting and personalizing <\/strong>a pitch.\u00a0 I learned about the crunch of meeting deadlines and the grueling proofing that Word Check won’t catch!<\/span> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 .\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I greatly admire Casart Coverings. I think the idea behind this company and the product itself is amazing: repositionable, removable and reusable wallcovering that can also be put on metal, glass and other surfaces besides walls.\u00a0 <\/span>How\u2019s that for being both convenient and cost-saving?\u00a0 <\/span>Going into sophomore year, most students move to apartments, don\u2019t have a lot of spare change, but still want to personalize<\/strong> their rented space. <\/b>I know I will be recommending Casart to my peers. Here are just a few examples of how, with a minimum investment of time and money, a space can become your \u201cown\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n

The most rewarding part of my internship was helping with big projects like creating eNewsletters, press releases and the company catalog. Though these projects were difficult and required a lot of work, it felt good knowing that I learned a lot about the business world that I didn\u2019t know before and gained skill that will help me in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lorre Lei and Ashley were very helpful and approachable.\u00a0 Whatever I needed, they would do their best to guide me and help me finish challenging projects.\u00a0 It is clear that they are passionate about their work and their company, and it was a pleasure working with them.<\/p>\n
