It’s July 1st already and we’re getting ready to celebrate the Fourth of July! Therein the question, “What’s Read, White and Navy?” Well, our American Flag of course is red, white and blue, but so is the upcoming July 15th issue of Hamptons Cottages & Gardens,<\/em> read all over that is. They have kicked off this year’s Holiday House Hamptons with their All White Garden Party. Here are a few party pics:<\/p>\n

Libby chose Navy Day as her holiday theme. This is why in her own words:<\/p>\n

Since this is the first Holiday House Hamptons I wanted to echo design looks and styles that I find people are drawn to when they are decorating their homes on the East End of Long Island.\u00a0 I love the fresh combo of navy blue and white and I find that most people love various shades of blue and find it to be an approachable color that they will want to live with for a long time. My Chosen Holiday is \u201cNavy Day\u201d which was established on October 27th 1922 by the Navy League of the United States.\u00a0 For so many of us that live here, being out on the water and experiencing the coastline is what allows us to feel like we get to escape our regular lives to enjoy something simple and special that feeds us. I feel so lucky to be a resident of this amazing community and call the East End of Long Island my home!\u00a0 I\u2019m excited to share some fun and fabulous ideas on how to achieve a super stylish and fresh Hampton\u2019s look working with the themes that come from Navy Day.\u00a0 Navy blue, crisp white and classic water photographs will paint the picture of what I want to live in, in Bridgehampton.\u00a0 I\u2019m super excited to showcase my rug runners that are from my collection for Tiger Rug, it\u2019s fun to see them as runners because usually the pattern is shown in a traditional size but I love that I can get any pattern custom made in any color.\u00a0 I\u2019m\u00a0 visualizing the long upstairs hallway\/ balcony as more of a \u201cgallery\u201d than a hallway; a hallway is often times a forgotten space and a gallery feels like a special space.\u00a0\u00a0 Wallpaper often adds a WOW factor, but its permanence can be intimidating to many; here at the Holiday House Hamptons I am excited to debut my re-usable wallcoverings that I designed with Casart Coverings. They can be repositioned or removed with no greater effort than used to pull back a sticker! And I am thrilled to complement the wallcovering design with a runner from my collection for Tiger Rug. These customizable rugs can be done in any color and size \u2013 and without a long lead time! My wallcoverings and rugs \u2013 were designed with the same foundation as my furniture: elegance does not have to be sacrificed for comfort and ease.<\/em><\/p>\n
